How to

  1. 1

From a low lunge, place both hands on the floor inside your front foot.

  2. 2

Walk your front foot a little out towards the edge of the mat, toes turned slightly out.

  3. 3

Keep your back knee down or lift it, and let your hips sink forward and down.

  4. 4

If you can, lower onto your forearms. Keep your back long and breathe steadily.

  5. 5

After the hold, come back to the lunge and switch sides.

Tips

Easier version: stay on your hands or rest them on blocks or thick books.
